The Challenge
Jackie Hill Perry and Preston Perry are household names in the Christian world. As artists, podcasters, and teachers, they have cultivated a large, loyal following. Their long-form "With the Perrys" podcast consistently delivered powerful theological and cultural insights.
The challenge was to translate these deep, nuanced conversations into compelling, short-form content that could thrive on platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok, all while maintaining the theological integrity and unique voice of their brand.
The Solution
We were brought on to build and execute their short-form video strategy. Our solution was two-fold:
1. Culturally-Fluent Editing & Selection: We didn't just cut clips; we curated moments. 2. Strategic Brand Repackaging: After analyzing their channel's performance, we identified a key opportunity for growth: thumbnail design. The existing style wasn't maximizing the content's potential. We developed and A/B tested a new visual "packaging" style—a bold, high-contrast thumbnail format that was instantly recognizable.
